Since each company endorses its own brands

According to the International Advertising Association that it is a right of every consumer to gain knowledge about the products which manufacturers introduce to the public. It can be said that these manufacturers are not neutral since their advertisements have prioritized on selling their own goods more than just the purpose of informing the general public. One of the techniques of the advertisements today is to get the consumer’s mind involved with the commercial and make him think that buying their product is important in his life. Since each company endorses its own brands, they ensure that their commercials are the convincing enough and can help the buyers easily remember their goods every time they go to the market. Normally, are intended to convince the mind of a class of customers like housewives, teenagers, children, or business people for instance; moreover, advertisement professionals are studying more on how to best reach their target market. They never forget to add something in their commercials which to encourage the people to purchase the product.   When making an ad, it is not unusual to use exaggerated words to make the product appear really great; for example, a simple cereal is advertised as a great product, cheap yard signs are not really affordable, and greeting cards are said to express what your mouth cannot. However, these advertisers need to be careful not to claim things that their products cannot give; there are certain government laws that prohibit this kind of treachery to the consumers that is why even though ads are quite exaggerated, they see to it that their wordings are safe from the said prohibition.
