The Emperor of the Streams

As the leaves of the maple trees by the suburb turn into the autumn color hues of orange, yellow and red and as the cold morning air gets thicker and thicker, you do not need additional signs anymore to tell you that fall is setting in and winter will be coming soon too. I remember how I used to complain how summer can get really hot and then you get that high feeling that you just wanna jump into the pool or drive to the beach and soak in the summer sea and have a cold drink by your hand but now that the temperature is starting to drop lower and lower, I now miss going back to summer and spend weekends by the beach front.   There is practically no use blabbering stuff that you do not really have control over like how the seasons change because it is all the more better to get ready for the coming cold season by gathering all winter clothing and gear to keep our bodies warm over the freaking winter. We humans are not like sheep who grow thick wool to protect themselves and keep themselves warm over the months to match the transition of seasons from warm to cold but we can very well get a hint and lots of ideas from them on how to keep warm over winter and that would be putting on extra layers of clothing from them. I was not kind of joking when I mean that we could get a hint from them and as I remember my past experiences in the old barn at Vermont, my grandpa tended the sheep while grandma took charge or shaving the sheep for their wool over the spring season and later on making wool scarves for the kids. Back then at the farm of my grandparents, they used to sell the shaved wool from the sheep to suppliers and distributors of raw materials for winter clothing like wool scarves, thick gloves, coats and sweaters. So whenever I need to go out of the house and go on the streets I make sure that I am covered from head to foot and I do not miss covering my neck with a scarf because keeping yourself from being exposed from the cold is essential during winter.
