Twinkling Souls

Looking for ideal gifts for the people I treasure in my life usually takes time, because I have to find the perfect gifts for them. I just have to make sure that the gift that I am going to give will make them happy, something they can use, and something that they will surely keep and treasure forever. As much as possible the gifts that I give are personalized or something unique and hard to find. Like for example, I just gave my best friend a big teddy bear wearing a shirt with our faces on it. I usually do not look at the prices when I give gifts because I can give something expensive or something that I did myself. However, when it comes to giving gifts to children, I make sure that I give them something that they can use and learn from. The toys that I give them are not only enjoyable to play with, but something that they can learn from. Just like last Christmas, I gave my nephew, Mark, two electronic kits. He is already old enough to handle those kinds of toys and they can really help him in his studies. Now, Little Mark knows more about electricity and electronics more than I do, thanks to the electronic kits I gave him. Young kids can surely learn how electricity works because the kit includes manuals, wires, and many more.   As for little girls, I usually give them puzzles or books so that they will learn the value and importance of reading. I am not a fan of Barbie, because for me, Barbie teaches young girls to be materialistic. Nevertheless, it is always the thought that counts every time I give gifts, I want my recipients to be happy.
